One Choice
Call me a dreamer, but I have awoken from the darkness of “The Axe,” “The Window,” and “The Board” into the light of a new day.
I stand convinced we must begin again so that no mother feels as if abortion is her friend, and life her enemy.
Call me a dreamer, but I have awoken with a belief that true human equality should begin when a human’s measurable life begins, at conception. We can build a society that no longer obligates and encourages medical professionals to wield instruments to inflict death within a woman’s womb, by extending legal protection to the preborn, the hidden people group.
Call me a dreamer, but I look expectantly for the day when we seek to gather and acknowledge all the tears. They speak louder than all my words and dreams could dare to. The tears help us find the courage to heal, the courage to reach out to all trapped by the lie that abortion is a solution. I will not be content to abandon a single soul captive to abortion.
Call me a dreamer, but I believe that we can, and we will, begin to build a pro-love society—one choice at a time.

The Pro-Love Pledge
Consider making this commitment, first to your own family—your children and future children, grandchildren, sisters and friends—second to your community and the world.
Please read through twice.
- The first time, spend time pondering our responsibility to a mother facing a crisis pregnancy.
- The second time, ponder our responsibility to the preborn among us.
Here is my choice, my pledge,
We will not go back to coat hangers in a back alley;
we will press forward to LIFE.
I surrender to serving over controlling.
Because I love you.
“If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels,
but do not have love,
I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal.
If I have the gift of prophecy
and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge,
and if I have a faith that can move mountains,
but do not have love, I am nothing.
If I give all I possess to the poor
and give over my body to hardship that I may boast,
but do not have love, I gain nothing.
Love is patient, love is kind.
It does not envy, it does not boast,
it is not proud. It does not dishonor others,
it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered,
it keeps no record of wrongs.
Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.
It always protects, always trusts, always hopes,
always perseveres. Love never fails.”
—1 Corinthians 13:1–8
When you fear, I will listen, reassure, and provide assistance.
Because I love you.
Believing every human being is never less than, always equal, I will cherish you, considering your life a unique value, a blessing, not a curse. My care for you doesn’t begin or end at birth. I will provide you the protection you deserve.
Because I love you.
I will take hold of every opportunity to lift you up.
Our health and future prosperity begins with meeting the needs of the most vulnerable among us.
I will advocate for physical integrity and protection through any risks related to pregnancy and childbirth.
Because I love you.
You are not a mistake.
I will not tally up your “wrongs” or be angry that you chose a different path than I would take. When you fail, as we humans must, I will refrain from judgement.
When you overcome life’s challenges by utilizing necessary resources,
you will not be labeled a drain on the system.
I will not blame or accuse you of vile motivations.
Because I love you.
If violence and death is brought intentionally to the womb, I will not rejoice.
I will grieve when ultrasounds are hidden and heartbeats are silenced.
I will grieve when a lethal, legal wrong is labeled a woman’s right.
I will protect you by sharing the truth in love and working to build a path on which you can face a choice for life with confidence, knowing you are loved and respected.
I place my hope in life, not death, for you—never considering you a lost cause
but always a brilliant promise. I will trust love.
I will persevere for your sake because love never fails.
